Hello to everyone.
As I write this on Sat. Morning, there are two unrelated mission teams coming down from Central WI. One is a large team from Believers Church in Marshfield. They will be helping move Service International's operation from Long Beach to New Orleans. I believe Service International wants to operate there as it will be easier to recruit volunteers and due to the large need. The other team is from the Colby Zion Lutheran Church. This team will be helping with medical needs and home rebuilding. The Colby team will be staying less than 3 miles from our camp and my job site is near the Long Beach Service International camp. We will be looking forward to seeing many of our dear friends.
Please pray for these mission teams that God would bless the work of their hands, that they would be able to spread the love of Jesus Christ to the hurting, that God would fill their hearts with love and compassion, and that they would bring home a renewed zeal for their purpose in life.
The boys and I are pulling out of Ron's job to build that carport today. It is a 22 X36 structure. It is our goal to build this in 2-3 days.
We are nearly complete with Ron's tile. They did not order enough tile. I was able to complete this project for 50% of Home Depot's price.
The Kids and Charlotte participated in a Home School workshop yesterday.
