Gym set

Hi everyone,

Wow where do we start? It has been really busy. There has been nothing much out of the ordinary, It has been good.

Last Saturday we attended Corwyn's wedding and Harmony's graduation in Wausau.
On Sunday morning, Brian,Joshua, and Samuel played in the worship band. You can listen in at northridgefamily.org We welcomed our new pastor, Will and Jen, and their children Emma, Isabelle, and Willy. They have purchased a home in Abbotsford and praise God their home in Augusta sold at a good price after being on the market only 2 weeks. We celebrated their arrival at our regular monthly back yard barbecue at Mike and Karens house.

Our beloved Nicki at the church has accepted a intern position at a Nebraska Christian camp.
It is amazing how God works as Pastor has been hired as she is heading out. Nicki has been the brains behind getting many things going. We celebrated her today after church at a whole church brunch. We have been having nearly 100 in attendance most Sundays.

We are having worship band practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are now also having an extra practice and performance on Wednesdays for youth group. Ricardo is a highly skilled musician and very capable teacher. He is imparting a lot of skill into the entire team. It is a beautiful thing to see in motion.

Brian has been on some interior remodels the last 2 weeks and we have a large roof scheduled for this week. All of the guys will work hard all week.

We will have an outdoor movie night for youth group at the Gathering Place. They plan on showing Spiderman.

Thursday night was crazy. Andrew served at a Cub Scout brat fry at 5:00. Nicholas, Joshua and Samuel had their scout swimming test at 5:00. Joshua had a mandatory meeting at Wausau at 7:00. Brian, Joshua, and Samuel had band practice. This is what life is like for us here in the summer.

Joshua will be going to camp Tesomas for scout leadership training all next week.

Becky, Nathan and Amanda are out in California visiting Mike and Peggy.

We keep interested in fitness. We have had a commercial treadmill for years. Due to a bankruptcy, we lost our local Curves franchise which was Charlotte's help. Snapfit is here, but has not really been a workable option for us as the kids need adult supervision.

We just this past week discussed the goal of upgrading our basement into our own gym. We discussed that ideally it would be great to get one of those large total gym weight set. Obviously they are pricy. We would have had to save to get one. Yesterday Brian was driving past a local resale store and they had one outside for sale. We were able to buy it for a sweet price and we are all really excited. It is a very nice set. Our neighbor also gave us a very nice air hockey table which we also installed in the basement. With all of these teen boys, they now have a good place to hang out and get more fit.

We are going to be helping with the Marshfield North Ridge churches large event The Amazing Family Race next weekend.

Brian's parents are recovering well. They will obviously struggle with the normal aggravations of a car accident. Their vehicle sustained $8000.00 damage. The other victim sustained broken ribs and internal bleeding. She is hospitalized.

We trust you are all busy enjoying Wisconsin's summer.

We will write again.

In Christ

The Haines family
