Charlotte to return home

Hi everyone,

This will be a quick update, just to let you all know what is going on.

We have had a hard week. It has been a long time since we have dealt with sickness, but this time it seems to have been our turn. We had a virus hit the family, starting with Charlotte. Rosa, Ethan, Brian, and Charlotte have had non-stop fever, coughing, congestion, and sore throats for a week. We are the four sleeping in the R.V. By the grace of God, the boys sleeping in the tents seem to have escaped this mess.

Brian and the boys started last Monday working for Eva. We worked through the week on her house. She was a flood victim and was fortunate enough to get help to get back in her home.
She still needed help with the exterior repair of her home. The roofing crew she hired after the storm shingled her porch without repairing the structural issues. We jacked up the structure and repaired the problems. She also wanted her siding repaired, but as her house is 100 years old, it made more sense to replace the siding than repair it. When the house was built, the siding was installed over open studs. Eva purchased the home in the 70's and has been paying huge heating and cooling bills all these years. We have been able to insulate and sheet the walls with plywood before the siding goes on.

Since Eva was to be out of town this week, we worked for Ed and Marcella this week. We have been doing trim and doors, cabinets and crown molding, and lots of details. They will be flying to England to marry their daughter next week., so we will work for Eva again.

As of now, we are planning to send Charlotte and most of the family home next week. Peggy's shower is on April 5. Brian will finish Eva and Ed and Marcella's projects prior to returning.

The weather has been great, however it has been a bit cool some evenings.

Charlotte is not too excited to return to cool weather and snow. Pray for warm rain and warm sun. We are trusting for better weather for early May for the wedding.

We will keep you all up to date.

In Christ,

The Haines family
