Working hard in the sun

Hi everyone,

Not much has changed since the last time we posted.

We have been working very hard for Ed and Marcella the last week. Both of our customers have had major out of town trips, so we have been taking turns working for each of them around their schedule.

As mentioned before, Ed and Marcella have released other contractors from their project and have turned us loose finishing their house. Projects this week have included installing their cabinet package, installing base trim, window trim, finishing bathroom tile, outdoor railings, and drywall.

It has been a fun project for us, because we were able to be a blessing to them. There were some difficult projects to tackle and their other contractors unfortunately were not going to be a suitable solution.

We are planning on sending Charlotte and most of the boys home on Tuesday, to return home by Wed. night. We have considered flying her home for the shower, but probably will just have her drive in.

If we follow through as planned, we will take Monday off for a fun day. We realized that we have worked 6 days a week since arriving and we are needing a little rest and relaxation.

We still have not completely kicked this virus we have been fighting. Most of us are still fighting a bit of coughing, fever, congestion and sore throats. We would appreciate prayer for this. It has been 2 weeks now and we would like to move on.

Brian and 1 or 2 of the boys will stay back to finish Eva's work. Basically, it has turned into a full blown old house siding project with all of the extra work that usually comes with one like that.
We also will probably do a couple of small jobs for past customers and friends. We will work long days 6 days a week for maximum production.

We are enjoying great weather, March and April are so nice here. Right now it is mid 70's during the day and low 60's at night. Not too hard to handle.

Nicholas has been blessed with a good computer. He looked at one thrown into storage because it was not needed anymore, and found it to be very good. He had an opportunity to use honesty and shared that is was good. It turns out that it was given to him because he will make better use of it. It is so cool to be blessed for doing what is right.

We will see all of you back home soon, thanks for checking in!

In Christ
